The Indians traded Corey Kluber, the two-time Cy Young Award winner -- and their unquestioned ace over the past six seasons -- to the Rangers on Sunday, a blockbuster deal that could dramatically change both teams.

In exchange for the 33-year-old Kluber, Cleveland received outfielder Delino DeShields and pitching prospect Emmanuel Clase, a hard-throwing 21-year-old reliever with "electric stuff."

The Chicago White Sox have agreed to acquire outfielder Nomar Mazara from the Texas Rangers for outfield prospect Steele Walker, according to multiple reports.

The Dallas Morning News was first to report the Mazara deal.

The Los Angeles Angels have traded veteran infielder Zack Cozart to the San Francisco Giants to shave nearly $13 million off their 2020 payroll, a savings they could use toward their pursuit of free agents.

The Giants are paying the entirety of Cozart's upcoming $12.67 million salary to essentially acquire middle infielder Will Wilson, the 15th overall pick in last year's draft.

The Tampa Bay Rays have traded Tommy Pham to the San Diego Padres for Hunter Renfroe and prized second base prospect Xavier Edwards, according to sources.

San Diego will also receive two-way prospect Jake Cronenworth in the deal.

Pham will earn more than $8 million in arbitration this season and become a free agent after 2021.

The New York Mets have acquired Jake Marisnick from the Houston Astros in exchange for two prospects.

Marisnick, 28, wasn't an everyday player for the Astros. He's a slick fielder with an inconsistent bat.

"Jake is an elite defender who is an incredibly smart baserunner," Brodie Van Wagenen said in a statement. "Among our offseason plans was to improve defensively and he is one of the best in the game."

The outfielder has one year left on a contract that will pay him $3 million in 2020.

The Los Angeles Angels have acquired Dylan Bundy from the Baltimore Orioles for Minor League right-handers Isaac Mattson, Zach Peek, Kyle Bradish and Kyle Brnovich.

Bundy, 27, has made 28 starts in each of the least three seasons.

He posted a 4.79 ERA with 162 strikeouts, 58 walks and 29 homers allowed in 161 2/3 innings this past season.

Bundy, who made $2.8 million in his second year of arbitration last season, is also under team control through 2021.

The Miami Marlins have acquired Jonathan Villar from the Baltimore Orioles for minor league left-hander Easton Lucas.

Villar is coming off a career-best season, hitting .274 with career highs in hits (176), home runs (24) and RBIs (73) in 162 games. He also stole 40 bases.

He is eligible for arbitration and likely to earn about $10 million next year.

The Oakland Athletics have traded Jurickson Profar to the San Diego Padres for catcher Austin Allen and a player to be named later.

The A's were likely to non-tender Profar before Monday night's deadline.

Profar was acquired by Oakland from the Texas Rangers in December 2018.
